As long as you are taking some income from the business and you are working in the business you should be entitled to the wage subsidy. If you are not receiving a regular salary subject to paye from the business, or you did not return business income / shareholder salary in your last filed return you should confirm your status with IRD.

The first round of applications close tomorrow with a second application round opening on Friday. Apply tomorrow or you will miss out on the first 2 week payment (assuming you satisfy the criteria – the declaration including criteria is available at https://www.workandincome.govt.nz/online-services/covid-19/declaration-wage-subsidy.html).
