- I want to make and sell fresh pasta as a side hustle, maybe one day a full hustle, but I have no idea where to start. What do I need to do to get it going so I can go to markets, website etc. council approvals? I have a good hygiene cert. do I need a commercial kitchen. Eeeeeeewp help !

Great suggestions above and I would add that getting a really clear process for tracking and managing product costs, so you know what your products cost you, and can price them to make money (important part of a side hustle!).And second a program such as Foodworks so that you can work out the nutritional composition of the foods and deliver the packaging requirements to meet NZ legal standards. This is a really important element of your product offer to get right, especially around any claims, allergens, meeting legal requirements for pack weight declarations for example.
