Hi Modo – In my experience (speaking as business owner and not a lawyer) it all depends how much you’re willing to invest in recovery of the debt and what your prospects are of actually recovering the money i.e. do they actually have any money to pay you? A lawyer is obviously going to be the most expensive. If you’re thinking of representing yourself in small claims then its probably the most cost effective route but then its going to take a bit of time.
